Musée de l'imprimerie et de la communication graphique / Printing and graphic communication's museum

 
Il n'est pas forcément bien visible et pas forcément tentant pour la plupart des gens. Et pourtant ce petit musée vaut quand même le coup d'y faire un tour ! Le musée de l'imprimerie vous offrira de (re)découvrir vos cours d'histoire sur Gutenberg et son imprimante (qui au passage, à l'époque, fut un vrai fiasco !!)

Honnêtement, je pensais m’ennuyer un peu en voyant une fois de plus de vieux bouts de papier... Mais là, j'ai été agréablement surprise ! Oui.. bon... il y a beaucoup de vieux papier ! Mais il y a aussi pas mal de machines qui montre bien comment ça marchait à l'époque (et à quel point c'était pas fait pour des chétifs...), et cela va jusqu'à nos jours avec les nouveaux moyens de communications : l'ordinateur, internet, ... Vous pouvez facilement passer 1 heure à regarder un peu toutes les pièces.

 

It is not really well indicated and not really attractive for most people. But this small museum worth it anyway ! The printing and graphic communication's museum will present you Gutenberg's history and his printer (by the way, it was a complete fail !!)
Honestly, I thought it will not be really exciting but I was wrong ! Well... there were a lot of old papers... But also quite a lot of machines which explain much better how hard was this job at the beginning (and how much you had to be strong to do that !!). It prensents every way of communiaction until today : computers, web, ... You will easily spent an hour to have a look at everything.

Coup de chance pour moi, je suis tombée sur l'exposition "Andy Warhol ephemera". Ayant un récent intérêt pour l'art moderne et contemporain, j'y suis allée. Saviez-vous que l'auteur des sérigraphie de Marilyn avait d'abord commencé à travailler pour la publicité ?

Maintenant oui !

Cette exposition qui dure jusqu'au 16 Septembre 2018, regroupe un nombre assez impressionnant d’œuvres publicitaires de Warhol. Si vous avez l'occasion, passez-y, cela ne vous prendra pas plus de 30-40min.

Luckily, when I went there there was the exhibit "Andy Warhol ephemera". With my recent interest for modern art, I had a look. Do you know the screen-printing's artist began his work in advertising ?

This exhibit will end the 16th September 2018, and presents a quite impresive collection of Warhol's ad art. If you have the chance, just go ahead ! It will take you 30min more or less.

Enfin, j'ai pu participé à un atelier de calligraphie grâce aux journées des métiers d'arts. Il se trouve que je ne suis pas si mauvaise pour quelqu'un qui n'en avait jamais fait avant !
Il semblerait que des ateliers soient proposés (pour les adultes ou les enfants) par le musée si vous voulez vous essayer à l'exercice ! Je me laisserai bien tenter par une séance !

And I even had the chance to take part of a workshop of calligraphy, thanks for art's professions' days. I discovered I am not bad at it ! even if I never done it before !
It seems some workshops are planned by the museum (for both adults or children) if you want to try it. I will probably do so !
