Les bords du Rhône / On the banks of the Rhône

 

A Lyon, il y a deux fleuves : la Saône et le Rhône. Ces jours-ci, j'ai décidé d'aller me promener sur les bords du Rhône.

Le week-end, vous y croiserez beaucoup de piétons, coureurs et cyclistes. Mais il s'agit d'une balade très agréable qui peut être longue ou courte en fonction de là où vous commencez et jusqu'où vous décidez d'aller. Pour ma part, la balade a duré environ 3 heures (j'étais vraiment motivée !).

In Lyon, there are two rivers : the Saône and the Rhône. This days, I decided walking on the banks of the Rhône.

During week-end, you will see many walkers, runners or cyclists. But it is a real great walk near to the river which could be short or (very) long. Depends on where you start and how far you want to go. My walk takes me about 3 hours (I was really motivated !).

Cela reste très sympa en arrivant dans Lyon. Les ponts sont assez nombreux et différents, prenez le temps de les contempler ! Et le soir, les quais deviennent plus festifs avec l'ouverture à la belle saison des péniches-bars. Pour les amateurs, il faut que je vous prévienne : il y a TOUJOURS BEAUCOUP de monde tous les soirs !!

It remains very nice when you arrive downtown. Bridges are numerous and nice, take your time to have a look at them ! And during the evening, it became more "party mood" with the openning of the houseboat-bars during the summer. For those who are interested in that, you must know that there are ALWAYS A LOT of people every evening !!
